Full-time and part-time, Monday ? Friday.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Perform administrative duties by:a. Capturing necessary and required patient billing datab. Capturing and maintaining customer profile datac. Assisting with customer invoicing, credit and collection issuesd. Completing and submitting required corporate and regional reports/ documents within designated timeframee. Supporting corporate operations in resolving low level account administration (Billing issues, patient records, and other required documentation) issuesf. Assisting in collecting paperwork from physicians/ hospital officesg. Ability to effectively present features and benefits to ERS products and servicesh. Development of relationships with key decisions-makers and industry key opinion leadersi. Use of customer education program 2. Providing financial information and analysis for customer assessment regarding cost effectiveness of ERS services3. Measuring, monitoring and reporting billing effort as well as manage input of data into system 4. Conforming to, supporting and enforcing all ERS policies and procedures5. Participating in any and all reasonable work assignmentsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. College Degree preferred or High School diploma or equivalent and 2 year of experience in hospital collection work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience2. Ability to manage change and multiple priorities3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing format4. Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning5. Ability to operate independently and effectively without supervision6. Ability to deal effectively with employees and business contacts and convey a positive service oriented attitude7. Ability to exercise sound judgment, eliciting support and cooperation from coworkersREPORTING STRUCTURE:This position reports directly to the Vice President of OperationsPERSONAL SKILLS, APTITUDES AND QUALITIESKnowledge of hospital credit, collection policies and procedures. Basic medical terminology. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing. Working knowledge of federal and state laws regulating debt collections. Successful candidates must be persuasive and persistent while being sensitive to debtor?s needs, strong negotiation skills and mathematical ability to explain payment.
